Welcome to the recipe section of the North Idaho Home Brewers web site.
It seems that there are an infinite variety of ways to brew beer. Even though there are plenty of books on the market that contain beer recipes, we're certain that for every published recipe, there are hundreds more that have never been shared. We will do our part here to bring some of those recipes to light.
Please feel free to use the recipes you find here as-is or with your own creative alterations. If you do alter the recipe and like the results, please consider sharing your version with the rest of us.

If you have a favorite recipe that you would be willing to share, please contact us using the contact link at the top of the page. We aren't sticklers for tradition or normalcy here, we just like good beer, so don't worry about being true to a style unless that is an important part of your goal for the brew.
Submitted recipes should contain the following information:
- A description of the beer's character, including body, bitterness, color, and any other flavor sensations that might help others decide if they'd like to make the brew for themselves.
- A full ingredients list.
- Instructions that include temperatures, durations, and ingredient timing.
- Statistics that include the original gravity, final gravity, and the approximate cost per bottle using the specified ingredients.
